On May 6, there is on the ballot a State Issue, labeled Issue II. This Issue has been before the voters in the past. In fact, it has been on the ballot for renewal every 10 years.
There are many people in this world who just love birthdays. My oldest son, Philip, loves them and seems to be able to remember who is having the next one. Unfortunately, he remembers when people important to him are having a birthday and what age they will be on their next one. This year he and two others in our family are turning 55, which delighted him. For months, he has enjoyed telling them they were going to be the speed limit. My youngest son, Jeremy, really loves irritating his brother. He found the perfect gift, a white 55 speed limit sign. I don’t know where he found it but using wrapping paper and duct tape for the ribbon. Yes, silver duct tape. He even fashioned a bow to top it off.
