The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF), with the support of its donors and in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), has awarded $44,515 in grant funding to advance 14 projects and programs benefiting the county’s residents and communities.

The Monroe County 4-H Endowment Committee recently announced the winners of the Monroe County 4-H Trades Grant. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 award as reimbursement for expenses incurred for further training, technical education or materials for a trade. This grant is available to anyone who has completed at least 3 years in the Monroe County 4-H program.
The Monroe County Agricultural Society will hold its Annual Meeting Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Jack Cera Education Building, located on the Monroe County Fairgrounds. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
