I remember getting up one Easter morning to see several inches of snow. Church was canceled due to the amount of snow and ice under the snow. The roads were slick and by noon the snow had all melted off. I remember singing at sunrise services held Easter morning at Skyvue High School parking lot and as I was singing “WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY CRUCIFIED MY LORD” and the snow falling down very fast. I had just come off early from midnight shift and the roads were really slick going to church that Easter Sunday morning due to again ice and snow-covered roads.
