February is heart health month. This comes to raise awareness about heart health and cardiovascular diseases. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, making heart health a priority for individuals and healthcare providers alike. Experts emphasize the importance of preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and early intervention to reduce the risk of heart-related illnesses.
Midway Community Seniors will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10 for games. Lunch will follow at noon. The meal will be provided by the center.
Monroe County PERI Chapter 43 will hold its regular meeting at noon Monday, Feb. 3 at Woodsfield Methodist Church on North Main Street, Woodsfield.
