Finally fixing a decade-old problem

Like many other county residents, Jason Clutter was probably thrilled to hear the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District would be getting several brand-new schools in the early 2010s.All the problems with the old buildings would be over with.Or so Clutter and the rest of the building maintenance crew thought.Instead of getting perfect schools they found new headaches.River High School, especially, provided challenges.

Celebrating & saying goodbye to Lori Wickham

Sometimes you don’t know where life will take you.If you’re lucky, it will take you where you want to be.If you’re very lucky, it will take you where you want to be and where you’re supposed to be.That was the case for Lori Wickham.Wickham wanted to be somewhere spreading joy and excitement for learning, especially English.And she wanted to be doing that somewhere close to where she grew up.Wickham got the opportunity to live that dream for 13 years as a teacher at Beallsville High School.During that time, Wickham became many different things to many different people.
