“Boy, I need a drink,” Kreg said as he slumped into his chair.What should have been a routine trip to the grocer’s for lunch ended up being a harrowing and embarrassing ordeal.To make a long story print-friendly, Kreg got his hopes up for chicken fingers only to end up tossed out in the gutter when he discovered he had no wallet and, therefore, no way to pay for said chicken fingers.The shame!He then tried to redeem himself by fetching his wallet and returning to the store, but, seeing as he now had a reputation as a dead beat, he had to enlist fellow shoppers to procure the chicken fingers.

Village expands DORA for Alumni Weekend

Returning alumni will get the opportunity to enjoy their favorite beverages as they walk around town this upcoming weekend.The Village of Woodsfield approved a resolution to expand the hours of its Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) during a special meeting Thursday, June 6.Through the resolution, the hours for the DORA will run from noon to 10 p.m.
