A Woodsfield man died in a two-vehicle crash Friday, March 8 on State Route 78 in Adams Township.According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 10:36 p.m.

Village continues to focus on property maintenance
The Village of Woodsfield continues its focus on improving the look of the community.Mayor Carol Hehr announced that two new derelict properties will be torn down during the latest round of demolitions through the Monroe County Land Bank during Woodsfield Village Council’s regular meeting Monday, March 4.Hehr informed Village Council that two properties on Sycamore Street would be razed.In addition, Hehr said, two other properties, one on North Main Street and another on High Street were also up for possible demolition.
