Tax bills potentially delays, still require payment
The Monroe County Treasurer’s Office is advising residents and taxpayers that Real Estate and Mobile Home tax bills were processed in January and mailed out the first week of February. However, due to an issue with the U.S. Postal Service, we have been informed that some rural customers — particularly in our riverfront communities and surrounding areas — may be experiencing delays in receiving their bills.
