River’s cross country teams were back in action Saturday, Sept. 3 for the Martins Ferry Invitational.

Beallsville’s search for a second win on the year came up short in a 48-8 loss Friday, Sept. 2 at Frontier High School.

Looking at River’s schedule to start the year, there were a few games that jumped out as challenges.

Two River runners finished in the Top 10 during their season opener Tuesday, Aug. 23 at the Ohio Valley Cross Country League Kickoff Meet at Buckeye Local High School.
