Charles Richard Davis, 61, of Proctor, West Virginia, left this life on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, while at Wheeling Hospital. 

Charles was born Oct. 10, 1961, in East Liverpool, son of the late Virgil L. and Goldie M. (Cain) Davis. 

He was a truck driver with Teamsters Local 32, enjoyed woodworking, fishing and putting models together with his grandchildren and member of the Proctor Church of Christ. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Delma “Ruthie” Sutton and brother, Virgil “Lee” Davis. 

Surviving is his wife of ten years, Heather (Anderson) Davis; two sons, Bradley (Ashley) Davis, of Woodsfield, and Brandon (Kylie Stone) Davis, of Beallsville; two step-sons, Joseph (Betty Sells) Burgy and Allen (Kayla) Burgy, both of Moundsville, West Virginia; brother, James Davis, of Texas; three sisters, Virgie Haley, Martha Gates and Connie Pisula-Baker, all of Woodsfield; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends were received until time of service Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S. Bridge St., New Martinsville, West Virginia. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
