Clara Jean Blair Saffle, 85, of Waverly, Ohio, formerly of Woodsfield, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Bristol Village Nursing Home at Waverly. She was born in Washington Township, Monroe County, Ohio, September 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Elisha J. and Lavina Augusta Law Blair.
 She was a member of Woodsfield Church of Christ.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Saffle Sr., sister, Erma Stephans, and a brother, Homer Blair.
 She is survived by son Charles F. Saffle Jr. (Melody) of Pickerington, Ohio, daughter Joyce Tolle of Waverly, sister Minnie Haney (Leland) Ravenna, Ohio, three grandchildren Ryan Geddes (Andrea), Sean Saffle (Skylar) and Eric Saffle (Kaylin), and great-grandchildren, Ryker and Graham Geddes.
 Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, with Keith Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
