Daniel Patrick Dougherty, age 68 of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, at Riverside Hospital due to Coronavirus.

Dan was a retired police officer for the Upper Arlington Police Department. He was a graduate of St. Sylvester’s and Woodsfield High School.

He is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Gladys Dougherty, Woodsfield.

Dan is survived by loving wife, LuAnn; daughter, Dani (Jon) Sisson; son, Rob Dougherty; grandchildren, Connor, Brooke, Gwen, Evan and Eleanor; sisters, Mary (Clayton Jr.) Christman, of Clarington, and Elaine A. Huck and Sandy (Kenny) Bach, both of Marietta; LuAnn’s siblings and their spouses, Bobbie (Russell) Young, Donna (Bob) Johnson, Kathy (Brian) Herbert, Carol McDaniel, Tom (Diane) Carroll, and Mike (Sue) Carroll; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family received friends, Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at the Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026, where funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dan’s memory to the Upper Arlington Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.
