Doris H. Weddle, 93, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday January 31, 2024, at Wetzel County Hospital New Martinsville, W.V. She was born in Monroe County, Ohio, December 3, 1930, a daughter of the late John Vickers and Mildred Dearth Vickers Christman, and stepfather Paul “Pete” Christman.
 Doris was a proud graduate of Woodsfield High School Class of 1948 and a member of First United Methodist Church of Woodsfield. She had been an employee of Woodsfield NAPA, as well as Weddle’s Auto Supply.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Weddle, daughter Andrea Workman, special friend Norris Whittaker, and her dog Buddy.
 She is survived by two sons, Jeffery (Anne) Weddle of Woodsfield, and Jerry (Debi) Weddle of Woodsfield, grandchildren Gregory (Amanda) Workman II, Gretchen (James) Weddle, Josh Bach, Joshua (Felicia) Semon, and Ben (Denise) Semon, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Friends were received from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday February 1 at Bauer- Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday February 2, 2024, with Rev. David Cottrell officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
