Doris M. Brooks, 100, formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at Heritage of Hudson, Ohio.
 She was born at Graysville, Ohio, on April 16, 1924, a daughter of the late Isaac Alonzo McCollum and Lily Margaret Kenney McCollum.
 Doris was a homemaker and a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, where she was a former member of the C.W.C. She also enjoyed sewing, canning, cooking, baking, needle point and playing bingo.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Brooks and a daughter, Patricia Templeton; four brothers and five sisters.
 Surviving are a son, Norman L. (Kathleen) Brooks of Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Lois (Phillip) LeMasters of Sun City Center, Fla.; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
 Friends will be received at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025.
 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, with Rev. Fr. Nick Ward as the celebrant.
 Burial will follow in St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield.
