Letter to the Editor

If you think that there is never anything interesting to do in locally, you recently missed out on a great event our family would have traveled hours to attend, The Lamping Homestead Outdoor Adventure, sponsored by The Monroe Arts Council and the Wayne National Forest, held Sept. 22 at the Lamping Homestead Park and Campground near Graysville, was one of the most enjoyable and educational experiences held in our area in many years.

My husband and I and two of our grandchildren attended. We tasted pawpaws and sumac tea and saw monarch caterpillars, cocoons and butterflies.
