Eva V. Bettinger, 88, of Caldwell, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at her home.
 She was born at Marietta, Ohio, on August 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Parker and Lottie Opal Morrison Crum.
 Eva was a homemaker and a member of Crum Ridge Church of Christ, Caldwell, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She was a former 4-H advisor and was a member and former president of Noble County Stepping Stones.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Bettinger, whom she had married on December 24, 1953, and who passed away on March 30, 2015; two sisters, Virginia “Ellen” Martin and Evelyn Marlee Crum; two brothers, John Carlos Crum and Vernon Woodrow Crum; an infant sister, Helena Crum; a son-in-law, Michael Daggett.
 Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Daggett of Belpre, Ohio, and Heather (Michael) Bass of Caldwell; three sons, Rodney (Darlene) Bettinger, Jeffery (Merna) Bettinger of Woodsfield, Ohio, Bradley (Beth) Bettinger of Caldwell; one brother, Larry Crum of Caldwell; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law.
 Friends will be received at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield from 3 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023.
 Friends will then be received at Crum Ridge Church of Christ, Caldwell, Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Roger Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Crum Ridge Cemetery, Caldwell.
