Franklin Mahoney, 95 of Woodsfield, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Barnesville Hospital. 

He was born Oct. 3, 1927, at Woodsfield, the son of the late Clarence Franklin and Stella Meckling Mahoney.

Frank had a love of nature and took care of many wild animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Robertson and Meignon Hendershot; four brothers, Bernard, Samuel, Donald and Robert Mahoney.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received until time of funeral service Tuesday July 11, 2023, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, with Paul Eddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
