“I was out here 21 years ago,” said Switzerland of Ohio Schools District Treasurer Connie Kress during a tour of Swiss Hills Career Center at the Feb. 13 school board meeting. “This place hasn’t changed in 21 years.”

Monroe County could have a much clearer Geographic Information System (GIS) map this year thanks to a team effort spearheaded by Monroe County Tax Map Supervisor Corey Stollar, Auditor Pandora Neuhart and Engineer Amy Zwick.

Emergency crews in Belmont County were alerted of the fire at 9:38 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.

Galloway Named to Dean's List

 

Bethany Galloway of Quaker City has been named to the Dean's List at Ohio Christian University College of Adult and Graduate Studies for the Fall 2013 Semester.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and be enrolled in at least 12 "graded" semester hours.
