Gary A. Edgell, 81, of Lewisville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his home.
 He was born on July 27, 1943, a son of the late Stanley and Genevieve Anderson Edgell.
 He was a retired crane operator at the former Conalco Corporation Hannibal, Ohio. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Liam Edgell and a sister, Barbara Stephens.
 Surviving are a son, Sean Edgell of Woodsfield, Ohio; one sister, Lois Edgell of Panama City, Panama; two grandchildren, Gavin Edgell and Emily Edgell and one great-grandson, Walker Edgell.
 There will be no visitation. Following cremation an inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
 Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
