GLEN WILLIAM STALDER SR.

 Glen William Stalder Sr., 103, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
 Born November 6, 1921, in Sardis, Glen was the son of the late Jesse and Ida (Fuchs) Stalder.
 A proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Glen dedicated his life to both service and his community. He was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ in Sardis and spent many years as a self-employed farmer and mason.
 Glen was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Juanita Young Stalder; daughter-in-law Brenda Stalder; two sisters, Helen Reusser and Martha Winkler; and his great-granddaughter Isabella Stalder; great-grandson Liam Stalder.
 He is survived by his children, Glen Stalder Jr. of Beallsville, Ohio, Nelson (Flora Jean) Stalder of Woodfield, Ohio, David (Sherrie) Stalder of Sardis, Connie (Joe) Frye of Hannibal, Ohio, Cindy (Dave) Jamison of Kansas City, Mo., and Sandy (Bruce) Frey of Phillipsburg, N.J.; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and his dog Tippy.
 Visitation was held at Grisell Funeral Home, 751 Third St., New Martinsville, W.V., on Wednesday from 2 – 7 p.m. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. service officiated by Jim Miller. Interment will follow at Zion Memorial Garden in Sardis with military honors at the graveside. The family would like to thank Jennifer Kenny for the endless care.
