Grant Allen-Lee Nichols, 47, of Woodsfield, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at his home. 

He was born Aug. 11, 1975, in Incirlik A.F.B. Turkey, a son of Jerry Nichols, of Woodsfield, and the late Pamela McCurdy Nichols.

Grant graduated from Woodsfield High School where he participated in football and wrestling. He also graduated from West Liberty University, where he participated in wrestling.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Oran Nichols and Emerson “Bus” McCurdy; and an uncle, Jerry McCurdy.

He is survived by his father, Jerry Nichols, of Woodsfield; sister, Angela Nichols, of Woodsfield; grandmothers, Mavis Young, of Woodsfield, and Nora Nichols, of Hannibal; aunt Lynn McCurdy, aunt Molly McCurdy Snoke, uncle Carson McCurdy, aunt Brenda Nichols Tustin, and nephew Jeremy Tustin  

There will be no visitation.
