Guy L. “Sonny” Brown, 86, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital Marietta, Ohio.
 He was born January 12, 1938, in Clarington, a son of the late Kenneth and Lucy Moser Brown.
 He was a retired self-employed construction worker, U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Clarington.
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Renee J. Brown, brother, Clifford Brown and sister, Virginia McIntire.
 Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Josephine Wohnhas Brown; son, Kerry (Amy Zwick) Brown of Sardis, Ohio; daughter, Rhea Caldwell of Sardis; brother, Darrell Brown of Belpre, Ohio; four grandchildren, Cody Caldwell, Bailey Caldwell, Cole Brown and Kennedy Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
 Family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 2 – 8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville, W.V.
 Private interment will be held in Clarington Cemetery.
