Harry C. Cisler, 84, of New Matamoras, died at his home on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022.

He was born May 25, 1938, in New Matamoras, the son of Merle and Audrey Beryl Ridgeway Cisler.

He was a self-employed truck driver for 30 years and after his retirement he started farming which was his passion in life. He was always helping others when he could and he never knew a stranger.

He married Joyce A. Harman, on Sept. 1, 1959, and she survives with four sons, Keith Cisler (Ruby), of Malaga, Jeff Cisler (Joyce), of Waverly, West Virginia, Ken Cisler (Missy), of Brownsville, and Brian (Stephanie), of New Matamoras. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Cisler; two sisters, Barbara Martin, and Jane Schwaben; and a brother- in-law, Terry Harman

death by one son, Clarence Edward Cisler; one daughter, Tracy L. Cisler; one daughter -in-law, Sheri Kirkpatrick Cisler; and one brother, Robert Cisler; and one sister, Sarah Taylor.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Aug. 24 2022, at the Matamoras Cemetery with Ernest Hulsey officiating.
