HARRY P. MOORE

 Harry P. Moore, 88, of Clarington, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his home. He was born in Burgettstown, Pa., July 25, 1936, a son of the late Wilbur Lee and Nora Virginia Petit Moore.
 Harry graduated from Burgettstown High School in 1954. He married Mary Jean Spragg from Washington, Pa., in 1956. They moved to Clarington from Streetsboro, Ohio, in 1959. Harry started a slaughterhouse that was in production for 25 years, worked several sales jobs, spent over 10 years working for AL Williams, and then finally started his own pallet business that he later retired from. He built his wife Mary their dream log house that they designed themselves. You could always find Harry wearing his hard hat and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was also a God-fearing man.
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Wilbur Moore, Nora Phillips, Alma Alrutz Schwab, Mary Wilson, Samuel Moore, Charles Moore, Martha Jane Briggs, and William H Moore.
 Surviving is his wife of 68 years Mary J Spragg Moore; sons Harry T Moore (Connie) of Clarington, Samuel W Moore (Cathy) of Graysville, Ohio; granddaughter Jessica E Moore Porquin (Franklin) of Clarington, two grandsons, Ian Redding (Michelle) of Grass Valley, Calif., Samuel Zac Moore of Groveland, Calif.; great-grandson Wilder Redding of Grass Valley and great-granddaughter Lesly Porquin of Clarington. Also, many nieces and nephews.
 Friends and family will be received from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio. Private burial will be in the Moore family cemetery, Clarington.
