Ila J. Roth Turner, age 91, of Clarington, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at her home.

She was born June 9, 1931, in Clarington, on Krebs Hill Road, the daughter of the late Harry and Frieda Bauer Roth, Sr.

Ila was a member of Duffy Church of Christ, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and staying busy doing her yard work.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy R. Turner; a son, Jim Turner; a brother, Harry Roth, Jr.; and a sister, Elvira Datkuliak.

Survivors include two sons, Gene (Penny) Turner, of Clarington, and Mike (Monica) Turner of West Jefferson; a daughter- in-law, Julia Turner, of Clarington; four grandchildren, Cari (Richard) Russell, of Bettendorf, Iowa, Eric (Devery) Turner, of Columbus, Danielle (Cody) Thomas, of Pickerington, and Annie Turner, of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Family received friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 125 Clarinda Dr., Clarington, where funeral services were held Friday, March 24, 2024, with Evang. Greg Yost officiating.

Interment was in Clarington Cemetery, Clarington.
