Fred W. McConnell Jr., 70, of Woodsfield, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at his home. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on January 10, 1949, a son of the late Fred W. McConnell, Sr.

Beryl McHugh Poul-ton passed away in Columbus at the age 96 on Feb. 3, 2019.

She was born Jan. 5, 1923, on a cold, snowy day in Monroe County to Jim and Ina Waife (Cline) McHugh.
