Janet A. Stoffel, 86, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at her home.
 She was born at Lewisville, Ohio on January 25, 1938 a daughter of the late Amos and Wilda Feiock DeWitt.
 She was a graduate of the former Lewisville High School and Ohio University. Janet was also a former employee of the Ohio State University Extension Office and a retired teacher for the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ near Lewisville, Ohio; a former Central Committee Member of Monroe County Democratic Central Committee and former village clerk for the Village of Lewisville, Ohio.
 She enjoyed playing euchre, doing puzzles, genealogy, reading and was a cat lover.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Stoffel and a brother, Neil DeWitt.
 Surviving are one daughter, Karen (Douglas) McGrath of Malta, Ohio; three sons, Michael Stoffel of Woodsfield, Ohio, David (Paula) Stoffel of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Gregory (Jodi) Stoffel of Miltonsburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two on the way.
 Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 with Pastor Don Arbuckle officiating.
 Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
