John D. Love, 56, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, West Virginia.

He was born at Marietta, on Nov. 2, 1966 a son of the late Franklin and Opal Jean Crum Love.

John was a former car salesman at the former Bill Forbes Chevrolet, New Martinsville, West Virginia and was also formerly involved in restaurant management. He was also a member of the Belpre Church of Christ, Belpre.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James D. Love, and a sister, Susan Jean Love.

Surviving are his wife, Carrie J. Krieg Love, whom he married on May 6, 1995; two brothers, Frank Love, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and Tom Love, of Chandlersville; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Cemetery, Trail Run.
