Joyce Oletta Saffell, 91, of Jerusalem, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at her son’s home. She was born December 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Miller Bach.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Willard Saffell, and a sister Jo Ann Kean.
 She is survived by sons Gary (Regina) Saffell of New Martinsville, W.V., and Charles Saffell of Woodsfield, Ohio, daughter Mary Ann (David) Williams of Sardis, Ohio, grandchildren Nathan and Jason Williams, nephew Tony Chappell.
 Family and friends were received Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield and funeral service were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, with Brad Postal officiating. Burial was held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
