Judith Elaine Robinson, 82, of Woodsfield passed away peacefully at Wheeling Hospital on August 21 after an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and her special caretaker Cindy Schumacher. Born on August 9, 1943, near New Milton, W.V., Judy was the daughter of the late Paul and Wilma (Hart) Robinson.
A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Judy lived a life full of compassion, warmth, and kindness. She was a former employee at the local glass and garment factory in West Virginia. Also she had worked for Westinghouse in Cambridge. Judy was a devoted member of Beallsville Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas L. Robinson. They were married on December 18, 1965, at Locust Grove Methodist Church near New Milton. Also surviving are three sons, Terry (Shannon) Robinson of Waterford, Jerry (Pamela) Robinson of Morristown, and Kurtis (Lori) Robinson of Westerville; six grandchildren, Kylie Robinson, Lakyn Robinson, Lindsey Robinson, Lauren Cook, Baylor Robinson, and Darby Robinson; three great-granddaughters, Loretta, Journee, and Tru; two brothers, Greg (Betty) Robinson of New Milton and Paul R. Robinson of Worthington.
Visitation and funeral services were held August 24 at Beallsville Church of Christ with Colin Morrison officiating. Graveside services and interment took place August 25 at 11 a.m at Crystal Lake Cemetery near West Union, W.V. In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions may be made to Beallsville Church of Christ, 52125 Township Road 134, Beallsville, OH 43716.
