WADSWORTH – Karen Wise, 80, of Wadsworth passed away on April 28, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1943, in Barberton to James Bryan and Mary Evelyn (Pecek) Wise.
 Karen enjoyed traveling and family gatherings. She also enjoyed watching the Kentucky Derby. In Karen’s younger years she played a role in the raising of her siblings. Even though Karen did not have children of her own, she loved and often doted on all of her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed playing cards and getting together with friends and classmates.
 Karen is survived by her brothers, John (Amy) Wise, Jerry (Kathy) Wise, Jim Wise (Diana Brown); her nephews, Brian (Tiffany) Wise, John (Allison) Wise; niece, Tami (Kenton) Van Duyne; her great-nephews and -niece, Braedin Wise, Gavin Riggs, Ethan (Kimberly) Wise, Kaden, Brooklyn, and Westin Van Duyne. She also had many cousins, friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
 Services for Karen have been held. She is laid to rest at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Graysville.
