Katherine Louise Lohr, 71, of New Martinsville, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022.

She was born on July 19, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Emil and Jeanette Heuer.

She attended the Jehovah’s Kingdom Hall Church in Paden City, West Virginia. What Kathy enjoyed most was spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends as well as sitting at home on the porch reading and watching the river.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, James “Moe” Eveland; two sisters, Carol Klopson, Kristine Hunt; and a granddaughter, McKenna Connolly.

Kathy is survived by her children, Jim Eveland, of Plain City, Dawn Eveland, of Hannibal; siblings, Tome Heuer, Al Heuer, Christina Heuer-Guyer; grandson, Cody Elliot; and two great-grandchildren, Kenleigh Robinson and Emmalyn Elliott.

Family and friends were received Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 186 Main St. Powhatan Point. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
