Kathryn Kaye Hogue, 78, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Woodsfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born in Monroe County, Ohio, May 15, 1941, a daughter of the late Norman G. and Ruth Dougherty Hogue.
Kaye helped found the Women’s Tri-County Help Center. She had worked as a secretary for Whiteside Auto of St. Clairsville, was a member of the Red Hat Society and various other organizations. She was a Christian by faith, and enjoyed traveling around the world.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Norman William Hogue, and one sister, Patricia M. Hissom.
She is survived by her long-time partner, William Thomas of St. Clairsville; one son, Christopher Hoskinson of Woodsfield; one daughter, Julia (Ed) Pletcher of Clarington; one sister, Carolyn Livorno of Fairborn; four grandchildren, Autumn (Mark) Dimmerling of St. Clairsville, Eden Pletcher, Benjamin Pletcher, and Cherish Pletcher all of Clarington; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah Scott, Hayden Scott, Marley Dimmerling and Elliey Dimmerling.
There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield.
