KENNETH WILLIAM MCKELVEY

 Kenneth (Kenny) William McKelvey, 75, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away at home on September 10, 2024. He was born August 20, 1949, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Helen Winkler McKelvey.
 He was a retired coalminer, farmer, carpenter and jack-of-all-trades. He loved playing fastpitch softball and an avid hunter, both deer and coon.
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Butch McKelvey, Donald “Shylac” McKelvey, and Jeff McKelvey and two sisters, Iva (Bill) Jeffers and Norma (Harry) Miller.
 Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Karen Clegg McKelvey, daughter, Brenda (Jim) Roberts and one son, Michael McKelvey, three grandchildren, Justin (Kim) Roberts, Chelsie (Tucker) Brown and Gavin McKelvey, and three great-grandchildren, Jase and Karson Roberts and Baren Brown; three brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) McKelvey, Doug McKelvey and Chuckie McKelvey; four sisters, Ruthie (Paul) Jones, Susie (Jack) Keen, Janet Kress, and Sandy Ruckman; sister-in-law, Linda McKelvey and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
 Friends will be received from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 13 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, with Pastor Bill Abrams and Paul Eddy officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
