NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Lee Township Trustees will accept sealed bids until 8:00 a.m. on March 7, 2020, for mowing, trimming and cleaning of cemetery stones in as few as one (1) or as many as four (4) of the township cemeteries.
the cemeteries are: Sardis, Mt. Olive, Salem and Mr. Moriah. Bids must list each cemetery separately with its corresponding price per each mowing. Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the mowing period beginning May 2020 through October 2020. Prices are set for the entire 2020 mowing season.
Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability, with Lee Township listed as additional insured, when submitting their bid.
Contractor must maintain a grass height of no greater than three and one-half inches (3 ½”), regardless of weather conditions. Mowing schedule subject to change at the Trustees’ discretion.
The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Submit bids to: Lee Township Trustees, PO Box 219, Sardis, OH 43946. Envelope must clearly state “Bid for Cemetery Mowing”.

Sealed proposals for the Brownsville and TR 384 Paving Project will be received by the Monroe County Commissioners at their office, 101 North Main Street, Room 34, Woodsfield, OH 43793 until 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2020 and then at said time at said office opened and read aloud.
This project will pave approximately 2,120 l.f. in the unincorporated village of Brownsville in Benton Township and approximately 1,580 l.f. of Washington Township Road 384 (Knowlton Covered Bridge Road). Plans, specifications, and bid forms may be secured by contacting M.J. Westfall, OSU Extension, by phone 740-472-0810 or email westfall.23@osu.edu.
Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Monroe County Commissioners or by certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Monroe County Commissioners. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond and shall conform to Ohio Revised Code Section 153.57.
