Kraynak, v. Charles G. Oblinger, Deceased, et. al. This action has been assigned case number CVG 2021-223 and is pending before Judge Julie Selmon in the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County, Ohio at Monroe County Courthouse 101 N. Main St. Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
The object of Plaintiff’s Complaint is to obtain court declarations regarding the validity and/or interpretation of certain reservations of oil and gas and/or mineral rights in the Deeds recorded in Monroe County Deed Records Volume 76, Page 133, and Volume 88, Page 51; and to obtain a court order quieting title to certain oil and gas mineral interests in the name of the Plaintiff.
You are required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice, which will be published once each week for six successive weeks. The last publication will be made April 28, 2022 and the 28 days for answer will commence on that date.
If you fail to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment will be entered granting the relief requested in the Complaint.

Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
Bidders must comply with the State prevailing wage rates.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the Owner will have the option to be rebid the project.

The Regional Advisory Council will meet on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Buckeye Hills office at 1400 Pike Street in Marietta, Ohio.

Sealed Bids for mowing
Benton Township is taking bids for mowing at the following locations: Brownsville UMC Church and Cemetery, Rings Mill Cemetery, Old Brownsville Cemetery (Pool’s), Township Hall (Grange), and Township Garage, German Lutheran Cemetery.
Bids not to exceed $6,500.00 for all total locations. Bids can be for all 5 locations or any specific location and pay will be broken down percentage wise by the trustees. Minimum of 3 mowing and trimmings per month for 6 months to start April 15, 2022 through October 15, 2022 Trustees request that the cemeteries be mowed for Memorial Day weekend by Friday. Use your own equipment and fuel, and supplies, must have self-insurance. Benton Township is not responsible for any injuries. Bids can be submitted as soon as possible. Special meeting will be called to award bid. Township has the right to accept or refuse any or all bids.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Monroe County Airport Authority in the Administration Building of the Monroe County Airport, 47073 State Route 26, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793 until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 29, 2022, and will be publicly opened and read at that place and time for the following work: Runway Pavement Edge Drains, including installation of new pavement edge drains, outlet pipes, seeding, mulching, and other associated items of work.
Copies of the Contract Documents containing all the forms and requirements are available to prospective bidders at the offices of Stantec Consulting Services Inc., 1500 Lake Shore Drive, Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43204, upon non-refundable payment of $75 per set. Checks are to be made payable to Stantec Consulting Services Inc. Bidders must obtain a hard copy of the Contract Documents from Stantec, and bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms contained in these Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by either a combined “Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond” for 100 percent of the bid; or by a certified check, or a cashier’s check, on a solvent bank in the amount of 10 percent of the bid. If a check is submitted, a separate Contract Bond for One Hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract, with a satisfactory surety or sureties, will then be required from the successful bidder for the faithful performance of the work.
Work will be subject to the following federal requirements included in the Special Provisions: Civil Rights – General; Civil Rights – Title VI Assurances; Federal Fair Labor Standards Act; Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970; Access to Records and Reports; Buy American Preferences; Disadvantaged Business Enterprises; Energy Conservation Requirements; Tax Delinquency and Felony Convictions; Trade Restriction Certification; Veteran’s Preference; Copeland “Anti-Kickback” Act; Davis Bacon Requirements; Distracted Driving; Affirmative Action Requirements; Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO); Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; Procurement of Recovered Materials; Termination of Contract; Debarment and Suspension; Contract Workhours and Safety Standards Act Requirements; Breach of Contract Terms; Clean Air and Water Pollution Control; and Safety and General Construction Requirements. The Monroe County Airport Authority has established a DBE Contract Goal of 6.1 percent of the dollar value of the contract for the construction on this project. Attention of the bidder is also called to the statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relative to licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state.

Award of work, if it is awarded, will be made to the lowest and best bidder whose proposal complies with all requirements prescribed. The right is reserved to waive any informalities or technical defects, as the interests of the Monroe County Airport Authority may require, or to reject any or all proposals. No award will be made if it exceeds the Engineer’s Estimate by more than 10 percent.
