The object of the complaint is to quiet title or declare judgment to a 1.125 acres tract of land in Green Township, Monroe County, Ohio, described as follows:

Being a portion of the South, One half of the Southeast quarter of Section fifteen, Township three, Range four, said premises are further described as follows: Beginning at a point in the line Running east and West, once dividing the lands now belonging to John Ulrich Alleman and Christian Fuchs, the same line dividing into equal parts, The South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section fifteen (15) Township three, Range four (at a point) four rods from the West side of the road running from Cameron to Baresville thence four rods to the West side of said road, Thence twenty rods on the average line along said road South thence twenty rods West and parallel with the first mentioned line, Thence to the Place of Beginning, But in case said road should be changed, relocated or vacated thence instead of saying the average line along said road, it shall be said Twenty rods along a line which runs parallel with the East line of Section fifteen (15) and Twenty rods distant from the same Said tract being one Acre, and including one eighth (1/8) of an Acre Designated as a Grave Yard in the Deed Conveying this same land from Christian Fuchs to John Ulrich Alleman; and the Grantees of the premises, now conveyed agrees that one eighth (1/8) acre shall be used for the purpose of a Grave Yard where the Fuchs family shall have full privilege to bury their dead.

You are hereby required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice which will be published once weekly for six (6) successive weeks. The last publication will be made on April 30, 2020 and the 28 days for answer will commence on that date.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

MONROE COUNTY ROAD REPAIR PROJECT

CR44, SWAZEY ROAD

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Monroe County Commissioners, 101 N. Main Street, Room 34, Courthouse, Woodsfield, OH 43793, until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2020, for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the Monroe County Road Repair Project – CR44 which consists of Asphalt Repairs on the listed County Road.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above said time and place.

Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained at the Monroe County Engineer’s Office, 47134 Moore Ridge Road, Woodsfield, OH 43793.

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder shall be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation at the time of the bid opening and shall submit certification of said approval and pre-qualifications with bid.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.

Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Monroe County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
