Murphy (“Plaintiff”) filed a Complaint against said Defendants and others in the Common Pleas Court of Monroe County, Ohio, Woodsfield, OH 43793. Plaintiff seeks quiet title relief against the Defendants relating to certain real property interests located in Monroe County, Ohio.

The most recent addresses for the Defendants, or their identities, are unknown to Plaintiff.

The Defendants are required to answer on or before the twenty-eighth (28 th ) day following the last publication of the within Notice. Said publication shall be made in this newspaper at least once a week for six (6) consecutive weeks.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Lee Township Trustees will accept sealed bids until 8:00 a.m. on March 1, 2022, for mowing, trimming and cleaning of cemetery stones in as few as one (1) or as many as four (4) of the township cemeteries.

The cemeteries are: Sardis, Mt. Olive, Salem and Mr. Moriah. Bids must list each cemetery separately with its corresponding price per each mowing. Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the mowing period beginning May 2022 through October 2022. Prices are set for the entire 2022 mowing season.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability, with Lee Township listed as additional insured, when submitting their bid.

Contractor must maintain a grass height of no greater than three and one-half inches (3 ½”), regardless of weather conditions. Mowing schedule subject to change at the Trustees’ discretion.

The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Submit bids to: Lee Township Trustees, PO Box 219, Sardis, OH 43946. Envelope must clearly state “Bid for Cemetery Mowing”.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Lee Township Trustees will accept sealed bids until 8:00 a.m. on March 1st, 2022 for grave diggers in the township cemeteries. 

The cemeteries are:  Sardis, Mt. Olive, Salem and Mt. Moriah.  Bids must list your separate rates for opening and closing the grave and any other fees you may charge.   

Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the period beginning March 1, 2022 through February 29, 2023.  Prices are set for the entire period 2022-2023. 

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability, with Lee Township listed as additional insured, when submitting their bid. 

The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.  Submit bids to:  Lee Township Trustees, PO Box 219, Sardis, OH 43946.  Envelope must clearly state “Bid for Cemetery Grave Digger”.

The Ohio Township Trustees will be accepting sealed bids until 7:00 p.m. on March 3rd, 2022 for the mowing, trimming and cleaning of cemetery stones in as few as one (1) or as man as five (5) of the township cemeteries. The cemeteries are: Mount Union, Harter, Emma Grove, Duffy and Lloyd. Bids must list each cemetery separately with its corresponding price per each mowing. Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the mowing period beginning May 2022 through October 2022.  Prices are set for the entire 2022 mowing season.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability insurance, with Ohio Township listed as additional insured and proof of Ohio Workers’ Compensation. If awarded the contract, the grass height must be maintained at a height of no greater than three and one-half inches (3 1/2”), regardless of weather conditions. The mowing schedule will be subject to change at the Trustee’s discretion.

Public Notice

Revisions, Additions and Fees for the

Household Sewage Treatment System Program

The Monroe County Health Department is hereby notifying all citizens and license holders that public hearings will be held regarding the additions to and/or revisions to and/or fees of:

Ohio Administrative Code 3701-29-08 Subdivisions and new lots: health department inspection of all new building lots and the associated fees in OAC 3701-29-05.

Ohio Administrative Code 3701-29-09 (I): Revisions and additions to the terms and conditions of the household sewage treatment system operation permits and the associated fees in OAC 3701-29-05

Ohio Administrative Code 3701-29-19 STS operation and maintenance management, and system owner education, and 3701-29-19 (A)(2) phasing in O&M management for prior installed systems.

The first two hearings will be held in the Monroe County Public Library, 96 Home Ave, Woodsfield, Ohio at 10:15 a.m. on both March 3, 2022 and March 4, 2022. The last hearing will be held in the Monroe County Senior Center Cafeteria located at 118 Home Avenue, Woodsfield, Ohio on March 7, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The reorganization meeting of the Board of Trustees of Summit Township was held January 5, 2022, at the Lewisville Community Center. Trustees are as follows: Nate Betts, Brad Dimmerling, and Rob Dimmerling. Brad Dimmerling was elected President and Nate Betts was elected Vice President. Regular monthly meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Lewisville Community Center.

The 2021 annual financial report for Summit Township has been completed and is available for inspection at the office of the Fiscal Officer.

Monroe County Family & Children First has completed the Financial Report for year ended December 2021. The report contains a combined statement of cash receipts, cash disbursements, and changes in fund balances for all government types.
