NOTICE BY PUBLICATION

Applicant Equinor USA Onshore Properties Inc. (“Equinor”) hereby gives notice that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (the “Division”), has scheduled a hearing pursuant to Revised Code Section 1509.28 concerning Equinor’s Schindler S #4 Unit to occur on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. The hearing will be held via video conference, as set forth below. Equinor seeks to obtain an Order for Unit Operation from the Chief of the Division as to the Utica/Point Pleasant Formation covering the Schindler S #4 Unit area. This proposed unit area includes lands in Sections 20, 21, 26, 27, and 33, Township 2, Range 3, Ohio Township, and Sections 28 and 34, Township 2, Range 3, Salem Township, all in Monroe County, Ohio. The surface location for the Schindler S #4 Unit will be located in Section 34, Township 2, Range 3, Salem Township, Monroe County, Ohio, on Parcel Nos. 18-028009.0000, 18-028010.0000, and 18-028019.0000.

Interests in certain tracts in the Schindler S #4 Unit area are owned, in whole or in part, by persons for whom no address can be located. These tracts are described below by reference to their parcel numbers and their owners’ names: (1) Parcel No. 18-028002.0000 – Owners: Heirs and/or Assigns of Graham Johnston; and Heirs and/or Assigns of C.A.
