The object of the Complaint is to quiet title and extinguish the Defendants’ oil and gas rights, if any, in all or part of Monroe Auditor’s Parcel Nos. 24-022004.0000, 24-010001.0000, 24-020008.0000, 24-009012.1000, and 24-021009.1000, located in Sunsbury Township, Monroe County, Ohio: A complete description of the above listed parcels can be found in the Complaint.
You are hereby required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this Notice, which will be published once each week for six (6) successive weeks. The last publication will be made on July 23, 2020, and the 28 days for an answer by you will commence on that date. NOTICE TO BIDDERS
OPWC ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT-MONROE COUNTY
CR2-Miltonsburg-Calais Road
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Monroe County Commissioners, 101 N. Main Street, Room 34, Courthouse, Woodsfield, OH 43793, until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020, for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the Monroe County OPWC Road Improvement Project which consists of CR2 Cement Stabilization and resurfacing for a Length of 3.33 miles.
The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above said time and place.
Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained at the Monroe County Engineers Office, 47134 Moore Ridge Road, Woodsfield, OH 43793.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provided said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder shall be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation at the time of the bid opening and shall submit certification of said approval and pre-qualifications with bid. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than September 30, 2020.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Monroe County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
The Board of Monroe County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any an all bids.
