Monroe SWCD

The Monroe Soil and Water Conservation District is selling by sealed bid a 2017 custom-built sprayer. It has a 110-gallon tank, three-point hitch and a 21-foot boom. Pump is not included. Sealed bids will be accepted until Monday, March 21, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Monroe SWCD Office, 46762 OH-26, Woodsfield, OH 43793. Bids can be mailed to the Monroe SWCD Office. Please mark the envelope as “Sprayer Bid”.

The sprayer can be viewed at the Monroe SWCD Office at the Monroe County Fairgrounds. The sprayer will be sold as is. Any questions regarding the sprayer can be requested at the Monroe SWCD office by calling 740-472-5477 and asking for Wyatt Feldner.

The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Monroe County Airport Authority in the Administration Building of the Monroe County Airport, 47073 State Route 26, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793 until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, and will be publicly opened and read at that place and time for the following work: Runway Pavement Edge Drains, including installation of new pavement edge drains, outlet pipes, seeding, mulching, and other associated items of work.

Copies of the Contract Documents containing all the forms and requirements are available to prospective bidders at the offices of Stantec Consulting Services Inc., 1500 Lake Shore Drive, Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43204, upon non-refundable payment of $75 per set. Checks are to be made payable to Stantec Consulting Services Inc. Bidders must obtain a hard copy of the Contract Documents from Stantec, and bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms contained in these Contract Documents. Sealed Bids for mowing

Benton Township is taking bids for mowing at the following locations:  Brownsville UMC Church and Cemetery, Rings Mill Cemetery, Old Brownsville Cemetery (Pool’s), Township Hall (Grange), and Township Garage, German Lutheran Cemetery. 

Bids not to exceed $6,500.00 for all 6 total locations. Bids can be for all 6 locations or any specific location and pay will be broken down percentage wise by the trustees. Minimum of 3 mowing and trimmings per month for 6 months to start April 15, 2022 through October 15, 2022. Trustees request that the cemeteries be mowed for Memorial Day weekend by Friday. Use your own equipment and fuel, and supplies, must have self-insurance. Benton Township is not responsible for any injuries. Bids can be submitted anytime but no later than April 7, 2022 at 6:00 pm bid will be award at the April 7, 2022 meeting. Township has the right to accept or refuse any or all bids.

Seneca Township, Monroe County will be accepting bids for mowing, trimming, and cleaning of stones, at the Calais Cemetery and the entrance to the cemetery. Interested persons should be 18 years old or older. They must furnish their own mowers, trimmers, and fuel. They will also need to provide proof of insurance and the township is not responsible for any accidents. Flowers are to be removed by April 1, 2022. Bids should be for each mowing, not the entire season, with the trustees having the discretion as to when the cemetery will be mowed. The trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Monroe County, Ohio, will receive sealed bids in their office located at 101 N. Main St., Rm. 34, Courthouse, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793, Monday, April 4, 2022, until 11:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be opened for supplying Monroe County with liquid asphalt in unspecified amounts, to be used in the road resurfacing program and dust control during the 2022 season.

Specification and bid requirements for the liquid asphalt must be picked up at the County Garage Office located at 47134 Moore Ridge Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.

The Monroe County Engineer and Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid which best promotes the best interest of Monroe County.

Summit Township, Monroe County will be accepting bids for mowing and trimming of two properties for the spring, summer and fall seasons 2022. The two properties are the Bracken Ridge Cemetery located at 30678 Bracken Ridge Road, Lewisville, OH 43754, and the Denbow Baseball Field located at Lewisville Community Park. Due to local baseball league play, the baseball field mowing will begin in June with date to be determined. Separate bids are required for each property. SWN Production (Ohio), LLC (SWN) is developing their Rothenbuhler Pad in Monroe County, Ohio. Three new wells will each produce into their own sand trap and then enter their own Gas Processing Unit (GPU), each of which includes a 1.5 MMBtu/hr burner. The separated gas is sent to the dehydration unit, rated at 205 MMscfd and sold via pipeline. The dehydrator is equipped with a reboiler, rated at 1.5 MMBtu/hr and routed to the produced water tanks. The enclosed combustor captures vapors from the dehydrator. The site includes four (4) 500-bbl produced water storage tanks. The site also has an emergency natural gas generator rated at 3,964 cf/day for power. There will be one unpaved haul road.
