Request for
Qualifications for Design Services
The Monroe County Park District in the State of Ohio is interested in acquiring the services of an architect or engineer firm to provide the necessary engineering, design, specifications, and construction inspection services needed for completion of the project known as Ohio Township Swimming Pool Renovation, located on River High School Road, Hannibal, Ohio 43931 (Monroe County). GPS coordinates: N39.6673, W-80.872. Said firm will also be required to coordinate plans with the Southeastern Ohio Building Department in Marietta, Ohio and assist the Owner in applying for and receiving any necessary permits. The project has a tentative construction completion date of May 31, 2022.
All proposals will be evaluated in terms of experience, performance, and capacity. The types of experiences desired are: (1) experience with state and federal compliance; (2) experience in designing improvements/renovations for public swimming pools; (3) experience with field supervision; and (4) experience with competitive sealed bid procurement. Performance will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget and quality of work. Capacity will be experience and staff time availability. The County will begin negotiations with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.

NOTICE
The Village of Clarington will accept sealed bids until 7:00 p.m. on November 4, 2021, for mowing, trimming and cleaning of cemetery stones for two (2) cemeteries – the Atkinson Cemetery and the Clarington Cemetery. Bids must list each cemetery separately with its corresponding price per each mowing. Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the mowing period beginning April 2022 through October 2022. Prices are set for the entire 2022 mowing season. Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability insurance with Village of Clarington listed as additional insured and proof of Workers’ Compensation when submitting their bid. Contractor must maintain a grass height of no greater than three and one-half (3 ½”) regardless of weather conditions. Mowing schedule will be subject to change at the village’s discretion. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code, Section 4503.06, notice is hereby given of forthcoming publication and certification, on November 11 and November 18, 2021, of the delinquent manufactured home tax list of Monroe County.
Said list will contain the name of the most current owner and any unpaid tax and penalties. The certification shall constitute a lien and interest charges will accrue on accounts remaining unpaid after the last day of November.

The Buckeye Hills Regional Council, 1400 Pike Street, Marietta, OH 45750 is requesting proposals from agencies who would like to provide respite services to caregivers of persons 60 years of age and older within the BHRC Planning and Service Area; Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Perry and Washington Counties. Funding sources are Alzheimer’s Respite and Senior Community Services Block Grant.
Services eligible for Alzheimer’s Respite and Senior Community Services Block Grant funding are: Adult Day Respite, Overnight Respite, Homemaker Respite, Personal Care Respite Services and Emergency Response Services.
The PY 2022-23 proposal packets will be available the week of October 18, 2021 on the BHRC website by close of business. Proposal packets and instructions will be available in electronic format only.
