NOTICE BY PUBLICATION

Applicant SWN Production (Ohio), LLC (“SWN Ohio”) hereby gives notice that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (the “Division”), has scheduled a hearing pursuant to Revised Code Section 1509.28 concerning SWN Ohio’s Fuchs A Unit to occur on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. The hearing will be held via video conference, as set forth below. SWN Ohio seeks to obtain an Order for Unit Operation from the Chief of the Division as to the Utica/Point Pleasant Formation covering the Fuchs A Unit area. This proposed unit area includes lands in Section 3, Township 4N, Range 4W, and Section 33, Township 3N, Range 3W, Switzerland Township, and Sections 26, 32, and 33, Township 3N, Range 3W, Salem Township, all in Monroe County, Ohio. The surface location for the Fuchs A Unit will be located in Section 3, Township 4N, Range 4W, Switzerland Township, Monroe County, Ohio, on Parcel No. 28-030003.0000.

You are hereby notified that you have been named as a defendant in a legal action entitled Marilyn E. Williams, et al., v. L.D. Jenkins, et al., which has been assigned Case No. CVG 2022-143, and is pending before Judge Julie R. Selmon in the Common Pleas Court of Monroe County, Ohio, at 101 N. The object of Plaintiff’s complaint is to obtain a court declaration that a certain half-interest in minerals underlying real property om Center Township, Monroe County, Ohio, known as Auditor’s Parcel Nos. 04-046021.000, 04-047030.000, 04-047010.000, and 04-046014.000, was conveyed by and not reserved in the Warranty Deed recorded September 5, 1935, at Monroe County Deed Records Volume 105, Page 191, and thus to quiet title to such one-half mineral interest in Plaintiffs. Plaintiff’s complaint identifies you as having a potential interest therein if it were reserved rather than conveyed by said deed.

You are required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this Notice, which will be published once each week for six successive weeks. The last publication will be made on November 24, 2022, and the 28 days for answer will commence on that date. 

If you fail to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment will be entered granting the relief requested in the Complaint.

Limitation

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Township of Lee of Sardis, Ohio, passed of the 3rd day of May, 2022, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 8th day of November, 2022 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Township of Lee for the purpose of operating expenses. Tax being a replacement of a tax of 0.5 mills at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for  5 years. The object of the Complaint is to seek Certificate of Title of the mobile home that was placed on the property of Plaintiffs and later given to Plaintiffs pursuant to an agreement made between Plaintiff and Defendants.

The last publication will be made on December 1, 2022, and the twenty-eight (28) days for an answer by you will commence on that date.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Monroe County Airport Authority in the airport administration building at the Monroe County Airport located at 47073 State Route 26, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793 until 12:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 for the following work at the Monroe County Airport in Woodsfield, Ohio: Tree Removal, including removal of marketable timber from airport property. Proposals shall include estimates of the types and quantities of trees to be harvested, method of removal, and a lump sum payment amount that will be made to the Airport Authority for the right to harvest.
