Joseph Winkler, et al. This action has been assigned case number 2018-384 and is pending before Judge Linton D. Lewis in the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County, Ohio at 101 N. Main St., Woodsfield, OH 43793.

The object of Plaintiff’s complaint is to obtain court declarations regarding the validity and/or interpretation of certain reservations of oil and gas royalties and/or mineral rights in the chain of title to the Property described as 214.526 acres, more or less, located in Green and Adams Township, Monroe County, Ohio, currently assessed as all or part of Tax Parcel Nos. 01-021004.0000, 01-021007.0000, 01-022012.0000, 01-022017.0000, 09-004011.0000, 09-005009.0000, and 09-005016.0000; and to obtain a court order quieting title to certain royalty and mineral interests in the Property in the name of the Plaintiffs.

You are hereby required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice, which will be published once each week for six successive weeks. The last publication will be made February 21, 2019 and the 28 days for answer will commence on that date.

If you fail to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment will be entered granting the relief requested in the Complaint.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Summit Township Trustees are receiving sealed bids for the Summit Township Slip Project until March 6, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. The sealed bids may be accepted by mail at Summit Township, Attn: Sharon K. Scott, Fiscal Officer, at 35467 SR 78 Lewisville, Ohio 43754 or may be hand delivered to the meeting site on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, until 7:00 p.m., at which time they will be opened. This meeting will be held at the Lewisville Community Center, 33261 Back Street, Lewisville, Ohio 43754.

Specifications, and Bid Forms may be secured at the Office of the Fiscal Officer, 35467 SR 78 Lewisville, Ohio 43754 or by calling 740-567-3292.

Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Summit Township or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Summit Township. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by proof of authority of the official or agent signing the bond.

Bids shall be sealed and marked as “Bid of Summit Township Slip Repair Project”.

Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Summit Township Trustees may reserve the right to waive any informalities or to reject or accept any or all bids.
