The object of Plaintiff’s complaint is to obtain court declarations regarding the validity and/or interpretation of certain reservations of oil and gas royalties and/or mineral rights in the chain of title to the Property described as 214.526 acres, more or less, located in Green and Adams Township, Monroe County, Ohio, currently assessed as all or part of Tax Parcel Nos. 01-021004.0000, 01-021007.0000, 01-022012.0000, 01-022017.0000, 09-004011.0000, 09-005009.0000, and 09-005016.0000; and to obtain a court order quieting title to certain royalty and mineral interests in the Property in the name of the Plaintiffs.

You are hereby required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice, which will be published once each week for six successive weeks. The last publication will be made February 21, 2019 and the 28 days for answer will commence on that date.

If you fail to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment will be entered granting the relief requested in the Complaint.

The Board of Lee Township Trustees held its organizational meeting December 30th, 2018. Larry Stewart was elected President of the Board, Brad Boggs, Vice-President and Jesse Merckle, Trustee. The regular monthly meetings will be held the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at the Lee Township Building.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Lee Township Trustees will accept sealed bids until 8:00 a.m. on March 2nd, 2019, for mowing, trimming and cleaning of cemetery stones in as few as one (1) or as many as four (4) of the township cemeteries.

The cemeteries are: Sardis, Mt. Olive, Salem and Mt. Moriah. Bids must list each cemetery separately with its corresponding price per each mowing. Bids must include all necessary equipment, fuel and maintenance of equipment for the mowing period beginning May 2019 through October 2019. Prices are set for the entire 2019 mowing season.

Bidders must be at least 18 years of age and are required to furnish proof of liability, with Lee Township listed as additional insured, when submitting their bid.

Contractor must maintain a grass height of no greater than three and one-half inches (3½”), regardless of weather conditions. Mowing schedule subject to change at the Trustees’ discretion.

The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Submit bids to: Lee Township Trustees, PO Box 219, Sardis, OH 43946. Envelope must clearly state “Bid for Cemetery Mowing”.
