Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Monroe County Commissioners, 101 N. Main Street, Room 34, Courthouse, Woodsfield, OH 43793, until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018, for the purchase and delivery of the following:

One (1) John Deere 710 Backhoe Loader

Three (3) 2018/2019 new condition Ford F250 Regular Cab Trucks

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above said time and place.

Contract documents, and equipment/truck specifications MUST be obtained at the Monroe County Engineers Office, 47134 Moore Ridge Road, Woodsfield, OH 43793.

Each bidder is required to state the estimated delivery date of equipment/trucks. Bidders may supply proposals for both the Backhoe Loader and the pick-up trucks, OR only supply a proposal for one or the other.

OHIO SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION COMMISSION

ELECTION LEGAL NOTICE

The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Monroe Soil and Water Conservation District to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Residents or landowners, firms, and corporations that own land or occupy land in the Monroe Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age and older may vote for Supervisor. A non-resident landowner, firm, or corporation must provide an affidavit* of eligibility, which includes designation of a voting representative, prior to casting a ballot.

There are three ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot:

(1) at the SWCD annual meeting/election event, which will take place on October 6 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Monroe Central High School, 473 Lewisville Road, Woodsfield, OH 43793; or (2) at the SWCD office until 4:00 PM on October 5, 2018; or (3) vote absentee by requesting the proper absentee request forms from the SWCD office at the following address:

117 North Main St., Woodsfield, OH 43793. 

One (1) Supervisors will be elected to a three year term.
