The lawsuit has been assigned Case No. 2017-0237, and is captioned Shirley L. Stanoch v. Dorothy Ritchie, et al.

Plaintiff’s Complaint seeks a declaratory judgment with regard to the ownership of a non-participating royalty interest equal to one-half of all the oil and gas produced, saved, and sold from approximately 30 acres of real property, identified as being Tax Parcel No, 28032008.0000, located in Section 15, Township 4, Range 4, of Switzerland Township, Monroe County, Ohio (the “Property”). The Complaint also includes quiet title and slander of title claims related to ownership of the royalty interest.

The above-named parties may own or claim an ownership interest in the surface and mineral rights of the Property. Service of the Summons and Complaint was previously attempted to the above-named partied by certified mail, return receipt requested, but were returned as undeliverable. The current address of the above-named parties could not be ascertained with the exercise of reasonable diligence, and therefore service by publication is necessary.

Pursuant to Ohio Civil Rule 4.4, the above-named parties are required to answer within 28 days of the date of this publication.
