Being the North Half of the North East Quarter of Section 19, Township 4, Range 5, containing 79 acres, more or less, except 38.84 acres conveyed by Allen Shotwell to Twaddle and Truex off the East end of said half quarter. Also the South Half of the South West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section 20, Township 4, Range 5, containing 20 acres, more or less, and containing in all 60 acres, more or less.
EXCEPTING 10.75 acres conveyed to Max E. Winland and Janet S. Winland, husband and wife, by instrument dated April 19, 1974, and recorded in Volume 166, Page 134 of the Deed Records of Monroe County, Ohio.

The authority for this taking is a law of the United States found at 15 U.S.C. § 717 et seq., commonly known as the Natural Gas Act, which, at Section 717f(h), authorizes the taking of property to construct, operate, and maintain a natural gas pipeline after having received a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (the “FERC”). Plaintiff obtained such a certificate from the FERC on January 19, 2017. Plaintiff has requested in its Complaint and other filings immediate access to and use of the properties to be condemned, upon a determination by the Court that Plaintiff has the power of eminent domain and has properly exercised that power.
If you have any defense to the taking of these properties in which you may have or claim some interest, you are required to serve your answer within twenty-one (21) days after being served with this Notice upon the Plaintiff’s attorneys identified below and at the address provided which is located within the judicial district where the Complaint for Condemnation has been brought.
