Thoughts From the Bumpy Road 9/21/17

One of the many joys of being a grandparent is watching your grandkids participate in different activities.

Last week I was able to watch one of my grandson’s fifth and sixth grade football games. This fall Mitchell decided it was time to play real football “where you get to tackle” instead of flag football. This video game aficionado, (I thought he was going to be a couch potato) made it through the three weeks of conditioning, the helmet wearing pain and exhausting running around the field with shoulder pads and enthusiasm. This kid could not get to practice early enough.

Then school started. They still had practice four nights a week and games on Saturday.
