Two threats reported at Beallsville High School

Monroe County Sheriff Charles Black said his office investigated two separate threats by Beallsville High School students in late March.

The first came on March 25, when a Beallsville student was taken into custody after allegedly making threats to “shoot up the school.”

Black said his office received phone calls from two concerned parents Sunday, March 25, saying their daughters received text messages containing the threat from a minor male student at the school.

Officers responded, taking statements from the two juvenile females.
